About This Project

We have created this video for the Trinity College Women’s Squash team.

The Trinity College Bantams fell, 9-0, against the Harvard University Crimson in the 2019 College Squash Association (CSA) National Team Championship (Howe Cup) Finals at the Kellner Squash Center on Trinity’s campus in Hartford. The Bantams, returning to the National Championship match for the second time in as many seasons, complete team competition with a 17-3 record, with two of its three losses coming against the Crimson.

Last year, the team posted a 15-3 record in dual matches, and also was runner-up in the National Championship.

Trinity won back-to-back Howe Cup titles in 2002 and 2003, playing perfect for the two-year stretch with a 25-0 record, and finished as the Howe Cup Runner-Up in 2004, 2006, 2013 and 2015.

Trinity won its third Howe Cup crown in 2014, went back to the national finals in 2015, and placed third in 2016 and 2017.

Trinity is led by Wendy Bartlett, now in her 35th year as head coach. Bartlett was honored as the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Coach of the Year in 2012-13, 2014-15, 2015-16, and last 2017-18.

Bartlett was recently inducted into the College Squash Hall of Fame.

She has coached 40 different players who have earned All-American squash honors, including four last season.

In the past 34 seasons, Trinity has an impressive record of 406-109 for a .788 winning percentage, and has won all 12 NESCAC Championship titles.

As always, this year’s roster includes talented players from countries across the globe, including Egypt, England, India, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Ukraine, United States, and Wales.
